Food and basic services
In the core of the city is a Tesco shopping center, which is connected to the main train and bus station by a shuttle traffic bus in spite of being only 3-minute walk away. Opening hours: Mon-Sat 8 AM – 8 PM, Sun 8 AM – 6 PM. It offers wide assortment of goods and there is a restaurant and a pizzeria. Then there are hundreds of other shops, groceries, boutiques, etc. all around the city, but they are mostly Tell-the-shop-assistant-what-you-want and not Cash-and-Carry, so there might be a language problem. The city is known for being overcrowded with supermarkets, but most of them are located on the edge of the city by the main roads. An exception makes the Futurum center, where you can find fashion boutiques, e.g. C&A, NewYorker, Benneton, Orsay, hairdresser’s, solarium, banks, mobile shops, restaurants, fastfoods, a cinema, jewellery, cosmetics, etc. Opening hours: daily 9 AM – 9 PM.
Foreign Press
